Megan Stock is the founder and CEO of Tamaca Therapy Services Inc., a leading provider of allied health services across rural, remote, and First Nations communities in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. A non-practicing Speech-Language Pathologist, Megan brings over two decades of experience in the health and education sectors, blending clinical expertise with a deep commitment to equitable access to care.

Born and raised in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories—a northern, remote, and predominantly Indigenous community—Megan experienced firsthand the challenges of accessing consistent, high-quality services. This personal connection laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to bridging service gaps and supporting community-led care.

From 2011 to 2017, Megan traveled extensively to nearly every First Nation community in Alberta. Through this work, she witnessed the profound inequities in access to pediatric allied health services and the impact this had on children, families, and health and school teams. These experiences deeply shaped her vision for a more responsive, sustainable, and culturally grounded approach to service delivery.

In 2017, she founded Tamaca Therapy Services to turn that vision into action. Today, Megan leads a team of over 70 allied health professionals who provide consistent in-person services—returning regularly to schools, health centres, and homes across vast geographies. This dependable presence builds trust, strengthens relationships, and ensures meaningful progress for the children and families they serve.

Megan is a strong advocate for sustainable models of care and meaningful, respectful partnerships with Indigenous communities. Through her leadership, Tamaca continues to build community-based systems that help children thrive—no matter where they live.
